Tracking Board - Incomplete
• | To limit the Incomplete Tracking Board to display only your own patients with incomplete charts, select the My Patients check box. This check box defaults to selected for all users when initially accessing the Incomplete Tracking Board, but the selection is "sticky," meaning the checked or unchecked status will remain in place for the current user until selected/deselected again. |
NOTE: Do not confuse the My Patients check box with the My Patients radio button. Selecting the radio button displays the My Patients Tracking Board, which shows only the patients that the current user has manually added to the My Patients Tracking Board, regardless of chart status. The My Patients check box limits the list on the Incomplete Tracking Board to show only the patients that are assigned to the current user (provider or nurse) that have an Incomplete chart, meaning that 1 or more item from the Discharge Checklist has not been completed.

Tracking Board - Incomplete
• | The following information will display below the demographics bar: |
o | Description: Displays the description of the Discharge Component(s) that have not been addressed. |
o | Status: Displays the status of the listed Discharge Component(s). |
• | Select the My List check box to display only the incomplete Discharge Components that are assigned to the role of the current user. When "My List" is unchecked, all incomplete Discharge Components will display. If there are no roles assigned to a Discharge Component, the Discharge Checklist will display all components for the department. The My List check box is a sticky setting and will retain its last designation. Please see the Table Maintenance - Control User Guide for information on how to assign roles to Discharge Components. |
• | The Incomplete Tracking Board's Discharge Checklist side panel functions the same as the original Discharge Checklist. The selected patient's chart may be marked complete by selecting the Complete Chart option on the action bar, regardless of whether there are still unaddressed incomplete Discharge Checklist Components. The Complete Chart option will be unavailable if there are Discharge Checklist Components that are set to required. Double-click a Discharge Checklist Component to launch the appropriate application within the patient's chart. Once the Discharge Checklist Component has been addressed and the user has returned to the Discharge Checklist side panel, the Discharge Checklist Component will be removed from the Incomplete Status from the Discharge Checklist. Furthermore, when the last Discharge Checklist Component is addressed and satisfied, it will automatically complete that patient's chart, which in turn will remove the patient from the Incomplete Tracking Board. For more information regarding the functionality of the Discharge Checklist, please see Addressing the Discharge Checklist. |
• | The Discharge Checklist side panel will remain open until manually closed. Select the greater-than > symbol to the left of the Discharge Checklist label to close the side panel and revert back to displaying only the Incomplete Tracking Board. |
