The Nursing department may be located under the Departments List Type. To order Nursing Interventions, select Nursing from the Departments drop-down.

•When the Nursing department is selected, the user will have the option to select the Nursing Category from the Category drop-down menu.

 

•Once the Category has been selected, a list of Nursing Interventions will populate the Search Order box.

 

 

Select Order Entry > Order Type > List Type > Departments > Nursing

•The Search field may be used to locate a specific Intervention. To locate an item, type the name in the Search field, and the list will automatically populate.

 

•Before an Intervention may be ordered, it must be moved to the Pending Orders box. Select the Intervention, then select the Add to Pending option from the action bar or double-click the order to move it to the Pending Orders box.

 

•When the cursor is placed on an order, a hover box will appear, displaying the full description. This may be done in the Search Orders or Pending Orders sections of the screen. This is useful for when a description is too long to display in the field.
