Appointment Confirmation

Three days prior to the patient’s scheduled appointment, the patient will receive an appointment confirmation via text and/or email. The appointment confirmation will include a link for the patient to confirm their scheduled appointment.

 

If the appointment is scheduled less than three days from the current date, and a confirmation message has not been previously sent, a confirmation message will be sent to the patient.

 

NOTE: The number of days before an appointment to send Confirmation messages may be customized per facility in the General Control or Locations/Personnel tables.

 

Once the link is selected from an email or text, patients have the option to select Confirm, Request to Reschedule, or Request to Cancel.

 

Once a patient selects Confirm, Request to Reschedule or Request to Cancel their appointment, one of the following icons will display in front of the patient's name on the scheduling grid.

 

confirm_icon : Patient has confirmed their appointment.

cancel_icon_grid : Patient has requested to cancel their appointment.

resched_icon_grid: Patient has requested to rescheduled their appointment.
