There are two types of Help Areas that may be set up on the Electronic Form – a mouse over help area or a text help area.

 

The mouse over help area is used to display images when the mouse hovers over the selected icon to assist the user in selecting an answer to a particular question. For example, on a pediatric form, a pain faces scale may be used in a mouse over help area to help determine the ranking on the pain scale. 

 

The text help area may be used to display detailed instructions on how to complete a portion of the form by selecting on the text to open additional instructions or guidelines. 

 

Both types of help areas are set up to only display when needed so they do not take up valuable space on an electronic form.
