Charting Using the Applications Control

The Applications Control allows the user to document by selecting the Link within the Electronic Form. When the widget is selected, it will launch the application/widget to display the selected application (e.g., Home Medications, Health History, or Allergies). Information entered within the application will not display within the electronic form with the exception of the vitals and allergies.

 

When the following options are selected, the application will display. Enter any needed data and select the back arrow from the web browser or select Electronic Forms from the navigation panel to display the Electronic Form.

Allergies

 

 

Allergies (reactions, priority, or severity) may be set up to display within an Electronic Form as VIEW ONLY. This will allow allergies entered within their the allergy application, to display on a form.

 

To add allergy information from an electronic form to the patient's account, select the Allergy application and enter all allergy data within the Allergy Application. When the form is save and reaccessed or select the reload current page icon to display any new allergies data. If there are not enough fields setup within the form to display all allergies within the patient's chart the following warning will display:
