The Physicians option in Order Entry will allow a user to search for the Order Lists that other hospital providers have created under their logins. Users will have the capability to choose items from that provider's order lists.

 

•Select Physicians from the List Type drop-down.

•After selecting Physicians, a list of physician numbers and names will appear. The search box may be changed to search by the physician number or name. Radio buttons may also be set to pull All, Staff, and Non-Staff providers.

 

•Once a provider is selected, a list of that provider's order lists will appear in the Description drop-down. The drop-down will populate the lists in alphabetical order, with the first list populating in the Search Orders box.

 

•Select the desired list to pull to the Search Orders box.

 

•Check the items in the list to be ordered and then select Add to Pending to move the items to the Pending Items box on the screen.
