•Display Weight:

▪Default: Blank

▪Options: L-LB (Pounds) or K-KG (Kilograms) or G-GM (Grams)

▪Usage: Sets the default for which a patient’s weight will display in the chart

 

•Display Height:

▪Default: Blank

▪Options: I-In (Inches) or C-Cm (Centimeters)

▪Usage: Sets the default for which a patient’s height will display in the chart

 

•Allow "Verify ChartLink Orders":

▪Default: Unchecked

▪Options: Y (yes) ✓ (check mark), or N (unchecked)

▪Usage: For use when implementing the CPOE application. Allows the Verify ChartLink Orders option to be available under the Verify Orders option from Nursing base screen or the Verify Orders/Review Vitals from non-whiteboard POC screens.

 

• Send CL order flash for temp acct stay types to dept. :

▪Default: Blank

▪Options: Blank or Department numbers

▪Usage: For use when placing CPOE orders on a Temporary account (via Temporary Registration). These fields control which 3-digit departments numbers receive the notification flash, indicating there are held CPOE orders placed on these temporary accounts. The departments may be assigned per patient type (1-5). Employees using the Hospital Base Menu (registration) will need employee security switch 104 to be allowed access to the "Pts with Held CL Orders" option from the Patient List screen.

▪The Held CPOE Orders option is available for nursing via the Verify Orders screen. The Verify Orders screen is available from the Application Drawer (facility level) and the Patient Chart (patient profile level). There are Behavior Controls from System Administration that may be granted to the nursing role or individual login so that they may access the "Patients with Held CPOE Orders" screen.
