The Vitals Most Recent & Previous card provides a quick way to compare the patient's most recent vital sign value with the patient's previous vital signs.

 

This card displays two columns: Most Recent and Previous. The Most Recent column will display the last vital documented, and the Previous column will display the previous vital documented. If the vital is higher than the previous value, an up trending arrow will display. If the vital is lower than the previous value, a down trending arrow will display.

 

Hovering over a vital sign will display the date and time the vital was documented.

 

The Actions drop-down provides quick access to the following areas:

•View All Vitals

•Order Entry

 

The card can be filtered by system and vital selection by selecting the Filter (cog) icon. By default, the filters are set to display all vitals using the metric system. Users can change any of these selections and save the selections as the default or apply them for the current session only. (To save the selections as the default, select the Save As Default button. To apply the selections for this session only, select a blank area of the screen outside of the filter box. To reset the filter back to the TruBridge default settings, select Reset Filter.)
