The My Boards section of the Boards menu will display the user's specific boards. The following options are available.

 

•To mark a board as a favorite, select the star next to the board name. A solid star displays beside the board name when the board is marked as a favorite. A star outline indicates the board is not a favorite. Selecting/deselecting the star icon changes the board status (i.e., makes it favorited or not favorited). Up to five boards may be selected as favorites. Favorite boards will display across the top of the Patient Data Console screen at all times, making it easy to view those boards quickly. If more than five boards are selected as a favorite, a notification will display alerting the user that "Maximum favorites reached."

 

•To change the order in which the boards are listed in the menu, hover over the board you want to move, select the drag icon , and drag it to the preferred position. Note that favorites do not automatically appear at the top of the list. You must manually move them if you want them to display first within the menu.

 

•To edit a board, select the Manage icon . See Board Management for additional information on editing a board.  

 

•The Minimal Initial Board listed in the menu is a default board available as the initial board for each user. This board will display the following cards: Vitals Recent Trend, Lab Recent Trend, Problem Management, Radiology, Home Medications List, Demographics Specialty, Family Medical History, Surgeries and Procedures, and Encounter History. These cards are included on the board with the default settings for each card.
