When the Flow Chart application is accessed, the Flow Chart Selection screen is displayed.

 

Select Charts > Select Patient > Flow Chart

Flow Chart Selection Type Options

 

•Existing: Displays a list of flow charts documented on the patient.

 

•New (all): Displays a list of all available flow charts for documentation.

 

•New (dept): Displays a list of available flow charts designated for the department.

 

NOTE: The Flow Chart Selection screen will display a maximum of 990 flow charts.

 

To search for a flow chart, begin typing the flow chart name in the search box and select Search. A list of flow charts will display based on the text entered. NOTE: The flow chart search is case sensitive.

 

When the Flow Chart application is first accessed on a patient, the list of available flow charts designated for the department displays. Once a flow chart has been documented on a patient and the Flow Chart application is accessed again, the list of existing flowcharts documented on the patient displays.

 

 

Flow Chart Selection Columns

 

•Flow Chart Type: Displays the name of the flow chart.

 

•Day: Not applicable.

 

•Status: On existing flow charts, displays a status of either Started or Completed and the date.
