Database codes are used for Admit Decision Date and Admit Decision Time in order to have them pull to the Promoting Interoperability report.

 

NOTE: The Admit Decision Date and Admit Decision Time  have to be entered on the ER Log beginning with Stage 2/2014 PI. See ER Log for more information.

 

Admit Decision Date

 

Create a text box control on the form using the database code MUADMDECDT with a default size of 8.

 

NOTE: The date must be entered in MMDDYYYY format on the patient's form.

 

1. Select the New Control Tab then Text Box.

 

2. Enter the label description for Admit Decision Date.

 

3. Select the Database Tab then magnifying glass.

 

4. Select MUADMDECDT Admit Decision Date database type code.

 

5. Check download and this will take the answer to the meaningful use report. DO NOT SELECT UPLOAD. Answer width should be filled in with the default width of 8.

 

6.Select Save and Exit to save the control.

 

 

Admit Decision Time

 

Create a text box control on the form using the database code MUADMDECTM with a default size of 4.

 

NOTE: The time must be entered in 4-digit format on the patient's form.

 

1. Select the New Control tab, then Text Box.

 

2. Enter the label description for Admit Decision Time.

 

3. Select the Database Tab then magnifying glass.

 

4. Select MUADMDECTM Admit Decision Time database type code.

 

5. Check download and this will take the answer to the meaningful use report. DO NOT SELECT UPLOAD. Answer width should be filled in with the default width of 4.

 

6. Select Save and Exit  to save the control.
